I was born in Glasgow and now live and work in Moray, Scotland. I am a multidisciplinary artist working across large-scale installation, sculpture, film, sound, performance, and moving image. My creative background began in theatre before extending into television and film, experiences that continue to shape my approach to narrative, space, atmosphere, and audience experience.
I studied Fine Art at Moray School of Art, initially focusing on photography before moving into expanded and time-based forms. This shift led to a more material and site-responsive practice, often working at scale and responding directly to architecture, context, and the emotional atmosphere of a space. Time spent working in Berlin, alongside other residencies and collaborative projects, has further shaped my research-led and intuitive approach to making.
Alongside my studio practice, I have extensive experience as a curator and gallerist, working across both independent and institutional contexts. I currently sit on the Board of Directors at Moray Art Centre, supporting the development of contemporary visual art within the region.
I am currently undertaking an infill course at Moray School of Art while preparing for my largest exhibition to date at The Wyllieum in Greenock. The exhibition responds to the legacy of George Wyllie, engaging with his ideas, methodologies, humour, and enduring cultural impact through installation, material exploration, and site-specific work.
